AI Chatbot Cyber Security Knowledge Base
ROLE
Researcher
DATE
Nov 2024 - Feb 2025
LOCATION
University of the Sunshine Coast
PROJECT TYPE
Master's University Placement
The Cyber Security Resource Project is an innovative initiative aimed at empowering University academics and researchers with advanced tools and resources to navigate the complex field of cyber security.
While my role primarily focused on the development of a comprehensive cyber security suite, the core of the project also involved the integration of an AI-powered chatbot designed to assist users in understanding key concepts, best practices, and evolving trends in cyber security.
Designed and developed to enhance user engagement and accessibility for university researchers and academics. The information was structured to ensure clear, relevant, and easily searchable content, forming the foundation for an AI chatbot. Efficiency will be improved by reducing user query response times and expanding chatbot functionality to provide instant, reliable cybersecurity guidance.
Project Requirements and Deliverables
Accurate Information Collection:
Meticulously curated a knowledge base, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of information. This database serves as the foundation of the AI powered chatbot, providing users with up-to-date insights into cyber security concepts, best practices, and emerging trends.
User-Centric Information:
Tailored specifically for university academics and researchers, the projects focused on delivering information that meets their unique needs. By emphasising research-driven content over business-focused solutions, the platform ensures that users can easily access relevant information to enhance their understanding of cybersecurity.
Knowledge Sharing:
A key aspect of the project is fostering a culture of knowledge sharing. The platform encourages academics and researchers to develop their understanding of cybersecurity and promote further research and understanding. Also helping to bridge the gap between theory and practice in cybersecurity.
